We also sell both fresh and frozen wild Alaskan salmon,
halibut, ling cod, prawns, scallops, and smoked products directly from our
counter. If you can't be here in person, we ship door-to-door via FEDEX or
to the closest airport via Alaska Airlines.
HOW TO STORE AND SERVE SMOKED SALMON:
Smoked salmon should be kept frozen and will last frozen
or vacuum packed
for about a year. Once opened, it will last about 2 weeks in the fridge.
We think it tastes best either served at room temperature or warmed
slightly in the microwave.
To prepare, defrost, cut vacuum packed bag open, drain natural juices, and
slide onto a platter or cut into chunks. For a delicious treat try serving
it with crackers and cream cheese!
